Why The Auto Show

A small shop that takes its time

The Auto Show is run by founder Nick Parker, with a team that has over a decade of hands-on experience. Every vehicle is booked by appointment and worked on in our shop.

  • Paint is inspected under full LED lighting before correction, and paint thickness is checked where appropriate.
  • Professional products only: IGL coatings and LLumar window and paint protection films.
  • Starting prices are published for our vehicle packages, so you know the range before you call.
  • We tell you when a service is not the right fit, like a paint enhancement when you need a correction.

How it works

From booking to pick-up

  1. Choose or ask

    Book a package online, or send a quote request if the condition or coverage needs a look first.

  2. Confirm

    We confirm the scope, price and date. A deposit secures your appointment.

  3. Drop off

    Bring the vehicle to 112 Metro Drive, Suite B. There is no waiting area, so plan your ride.

  4. Collect

    Pick up your vehicle and go over the care instructions for your coating, film or tint.

After extensive research in the upstate South Carolina area for a highly reputable car detailer and ceramic coating expert, I settled on The Auto Show - owned and operated by Nick Parker. After several email exchanges with Nick, I decided to have him ceramic coat our 2026 Lexus TX 350 and our 2014 Mercedes E350 convertible. He offered 1, 3 and 5 year coating durability, and I chose 3 years for both vehicles. In short, both vehicles’ surfaces ended up looking better than new, being super slick to the touch and highly water repellant.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. After my car flooded during a storm and was left with standing water inside, I honestly thought it might be ruined. The team at The Auto Show completely saved my vehicle. They went above and beyond by extracting all the water, removing the seats and carpet, drying everything properly, and reinstalling it all like new. They even made sure every electronic component was working perfectly before giving it back to me.

It’s been a little over a year since all of this happened, and my car is still running great with zero issues. That says everything about the quality of their work. These guys truly care about what they do and treat customers right. They were a blessing during a stressful situation, and I can’t recommend The Auto Show enough.

Before you book

Ceramic coating or paint protection film?

A ceramic coating adds gloss and makes the paint easier to keep clean, but it does not stop rock chips. Paint protection film is a physical layer that guards against chips on the panels it covers. Many owners film the front end and coat the rest.

Which detail package do I need?

Level 1 suits a vehicle that is already looked after. Level 2 adds clay and iron decontamination and is the minimum before a coating. If you are unsure, compare the packages or call and describe the vehicle.

How do quotes work?

Send the quote form or call. We confirm the scope and price for your vehicle’s size and condition before anything is booked, and a deposit then secures the date.

Can I wait while my vehicle is worked on?

No. The shop has no waiting area, and most services take a full day or more, so plan to drop the vehicle off and collect it later.

Can someone give me a ride home?

No. We are a small shop, and once you drop off, the team goes straight to work on your vehicle.

Do you take a deposit?

Yes. Your appointment is confirmed once the deposit is received. If you cancel within 72 hours of your appointment, the deposit is forfeited.

Is there a vehicle age limit for window tint?

Yes. We do not tint vehicles more than 8 years old, because older seals and trim become brittle and can break when the film is installed.

Can I drop off after hours?
