Ceramic Coating & PPF Guide: Get It Done
How Booking Works at The Auto Show
We work by appointment only, at 112 Metro Drive, Suite B, in Anderson. There are two ways in: book a package online, or request a quote or estimate. Which one fits depends on what you want done and how sure you are about it.
This page explains both paths, what happens after you book, what the deposit is for and why our published prices are starting prices. Some details, like the deposit amount and the cancellation policy, are shown when you book rather than published here, so we point you to where you will see them.
The short answer
The Auto Show is appointment only. Book a package online, or request a quote or estimate on the booking page if you want a coating, correction or PPF priced for your car. A deposit confirms the appointment, and the cancellation policy is shown when you book. Published prices are starting prices; the final price is confirmed after we inspect the vehicle. There is no waiting area, and after-6 pm drop-off can be arranged by phone.
Key points
- Appointment only: book a package online, or request a quote or estimate on the booking page.
- A deposit confirms your appointment; the amount is shown when you book.
- The cancellation policy is shown during booking; read it before you confirm.
- Published prices are starting prices, and the final price is confirmed after inspection.
- No waiting area: plan a ride, or call to arrange drop-off after 6 pm.
Two paths
Book online or request a quote
If you already know what you want, such as a Level 1 or Level 2 detail, booking a package online is the quickest route. You pick the package and the vehicle size, choose a time, and pay the deposit to confirm.
If you are not sure what your car needs, or you want a ceramic coating, paint correction or paint protection film priced for your specific vehicle, request a quote or estimate instead. Those services depend heavily on paint condition and coverage, so a conversation and an inspection come before a final number.

Prices
Why our prices say "starting at"
Every price we publish is a starting price. Two cars of the same size can need very different amounts of work: one has light swirls, the other has years of automatic-wash marring, sap etching and a hood baked by Upstate summers. The difference shows up in correction time, which is often the biggest part of a coating job.
Vehicle size is the other driver. Our coating prices are listed by class: coupe, sedan, wagon, several SUV sizes, truck and dually. Our 5-year IGL Kenzo coating starts at $1,299.98 for a coupe and $1,449.99 for a truck, for example. If you are not sure which class your vehicle falls into, ask when you request a quote.
The final price is confirmed after inspection. That is not a way to raise the number; it is the point where we have actually seen your paint and can tell you what it needs.
Quote requests
What to include when you ask for a quote
A useful quote request saves a round of back-and-forth. Give the year, make and model, and say whether it is a coupe, sedan, SUV (and how many rows), truck or dually, since that sets the price class. Describe what bothers you about the paint, how you drive and where the car is parked. If you are thinking about film, say which areas take the most chips. LLumar notes that PPF pricing is set by the installing dealer and depends on how much of the car you cover, so coverage is the first thing we will ask about.
When the scope is settled, keep it in writing. AAA's general advice for auto services is to get a written estimate that describes the specific work and costs. For us, that means the service, the vehicle class, the starting price and, after inspection, the confirmed final price.
Deposit
What the deposit does
A deposit confirms your appointment. It holds the time in the schedule, which matters for longer jobs: a 1-step correction is about 2 days in the shop and a 2-step correction about 3 days, so a slot is a real commitment of bay time.
The deposit amount is shown when you book, and so is the cancellation policy. Read both before you confirm. If your plans might change, check the cancellation terms at that point rather than assuming they match another shop's.
After you book
From booking to pickup
Confirmation
Your deposit confirms the appointment. Keep the confirmation with the date, time and service.
Get ready
Empty the car, skip any wax before a coating or PPF, and arrange your ride. Our drop-off checklist covers the details.
Drop-off
Bring the car at your appointment time. There is no waiting area. Drop-off after 6 pm can be arranged by phone.
Inspection
We look over the vehicle and confirm the final price. For correction and coatings, we show you what can and cannot be removed.
The work
Detail packages run about 4 hours (Level 1), 6 hours (Level 2) or 8 hours (Level 3). Coating, correction and PPF timing depends on the car; we confirm it when you book.
Pickup
Walk around the car, ask questions and take home care instructions. Coated vehicles get care instructions at pickup.
Which service
Not sure what to book?
Many people come in asking for a coating when what they want is gloss, or asking for a detail when what they need is correction. A quick way to sort it out is to name the problem, not the service.
- "It's dirty inside and out": a Level 1 or Level 2 detail.
- "It looks dull and has swirls in the sun": paint correction, then a coating to keep it that way.
- "I want it easier to wash and glossier for years": a ceramic coating, with at least a Level 2 detail and correction or enhancement first.
- "I keep getting rock chips on the front": paint protection film on the front end.
- "Water won't clear off my windshield in heavy rain": a glass coating, $100 for the windshield.
- "The interior gets too hot": window tint, from $125.99 for carbon or $199.99 for ceramic on the two front windows.
Good to know
Things people ask before booking
We do not publish a deposit amount or cancellation hours here because they are shown at booking. We do not offer a waiting area. A Level 2 detail is the minimum before any ceramic coating, which is why a coating quote includes prep. For PPF, packages run from Interstate front-end coverage at $1,199.99 to Full Car at $5,499.99, with Off Roader priced by quote.
If you have a question this page does not answer, call. It is faster than guessing, and it lets us steer you to the right booking path.

Common questions
Can I walk in without an appointment?
No. The Auto Show works by appointment only, because most jobs take hours or days of bay time and are scheduled ahead. Book a package online or request a quote, and call (864) 202-6934 if you need help picking a time or service.
How much is the deposit to book?
The deposit amount is shown when you book, along with the cancellation policy. We do not publish a figure here because the booking page is where the current terms live. Read both before you confirm your appointment.
Can I get a price over the phone?
You can get our starting prices and a sense of what your car might need. For coatings, correction and PPF, the final price is confirmed after inspection, because paint condition and coverage change the work involved. Detail packages have published starting prices by vehicle size.
Where is The Auto Show located?
We are at 112 Metro Drive, Suite B, Anderson, SC 29625. If you are coming from Greenville, Easley, Clemson, Pendleton, Belton, Williamston or Powdersville, plan your ride home in advance, since there is no waiting area. Work is by appointment only, and drop-off after 6 pm can be arranged by phone.
