This page lays out exactly what a ceramic coating costs at The Auto Show in Anderson, what's included, what prep your car needs first, and how to book. No vague ranges: these are our published starting prices for each IGL coating by vehicle size.
We're an appointment-only shop at 112 Metro Drive, Suite B, serving Anderson and the Upstate, from Greenville and Easley to Clemson, Pendleton, Belton and the Lake Hartwell area.
The short answer
At The Auto Show in Anderson, ceramic coatings start at $699.98 for a 1-year IGL EZ coating, $899.98 for a 3-year IGL Quartz+ and $1,299.98 for a 5-year IGL Kenzo, all on a coupe. Larger vehicles cost more. Every coating requires at least a Level 2 Detail and a corrected or enhanced finish first. Final prices are confirmed after we inspect the paint.

The Three Coatings We Offer
- 5-year: IGL Kenzo10H rated, from $1,299.98
- Our longest-rated coating. IGL describes Kenzo as a graphene-reinforced, high-solids coating with up to 5 years of protection and greater resistance to water spots. Best for a car you'll keep for many years, especially after a full correction.
- 3-year: IGL Quartz+9H rated, from $899.98
- A two-layer hybrid coating with a self-cleaning surface: water sheets off and carries light dirt with it. The middle ground for a daily driver you plan to keep a few years.
- 1-year: IGL EZ8H rated, from $699.98
- An entry-level silica coating. IGL markets it for up to 12 months of protection. A good first coating, or the right fit for a lease or a car you'll trade soon. Which length to choose
Years are each product's rated durability with proper maintenance, not a promise. Warranty terms, where they apply, come from IGL.
Fit
Which Coating Fits Upstate Driving
- Interstate commuters on I-85 or US-76: any coating makes bug and road film removal easier, but none stops chips. Pair a coating with front-end PPF if chips are the worry.
- Cars parked outside under pines: spring pollen and sap rinse off coated paint more easily. A 3-year or 5-year coating holds up better to the frequent washing that season demands.
- Trucks on gravel and red clay roads: coated paint, wheels and trim release mud and clay staining faster. Consider adding wheel and trim coatings.
- Tow vehicles and lake trips: rinse ramp water and grime off promptly; a coating makes that rinse far more effective.
- Garage-kept weekend cars: a 5-year Kenzo coating on corrected paint keeps the gloss up for years with gentle care.
Prices
How Vehicle Size Changes the Price
A bigger vehicle has more paint to decontaminate, polish and coat, so prices scale with size. The full table below lists our starting prices for every size class. A large truck or 7-seat SUV takes noticeably more product and labor than a coupe, which is why the same coating can differ by a few hundred dollars across sizes.
Starting prices assume typical paint. Your final price is confirmed after inspection, because heavily swirled, oxidized or neglected paint needs more correction before it can be coated. We'll show you what we see and explain any difference before work begins.
Prep
What Has to Happen Before the Coating
A coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so prep is not optional. Every coating we apply requires at least a Level 2 Detail and a paint-corrected or enhanced finish. Unless the vehicle is brand new, wheels are de-ironed and polished where needed.
IGL's data sheets back this up: they call for surfaces to be carefully cleaned of all contaminants, recommend polishing with an abrasive system, and say the coating's durability depends on how well it chemically bonds to the surface. That's why we won't coat over road film, iron fallout or obvious swirls.
Level 2 Detail
Hand wash, iron remover on wheels and paint, bug and tar remover, clay bar and trim restorer. Upstate red clay dust and spring pine pollen come off here, not under the coating. Level 2 starts at $249.99 for a 2-door.
Enhancement or correction
At minimum, a machine polish for gloss. If the paint has swirls or water spots, a 1-Step Correction (from $799.99, about 2 days) or a 2-Step Correction (from $1,399.99, about 3 days) gives a cleaner base.
Panel prep and coating
Polishing oils are removed so the coating bonds to bare clear coat, then the coating is applied and leveled panel by panel.
Dry and handover
Coated vehicles are blown dry, not towel-rubbed. You get care instructions at pickup.
Add-ons
Glass, Wheels, Trim and Interior
IGL's data sheet for Ecocoat Window notes that a glass coating doesn't mean you can do without wipers; you still turn them on when you need a clear view, and worn blades should be replaced.
- Windshield glass coating (IGL Ecocoat Window): $100. Rain beads and rolls off, and it lasts about 20,000 miles.
- All exterior windows: $250 to $350, depending on the vehicle.
- Wheels and wheel faces, exterior plastics and trim, and seats: ask for a price.
- Leather coating is available; ask for a price.
- Window tint is a separate service, with LLumar carbon from $125.99 and ceramic from $199.99 for the two front windows.

How Booking Works

A deposit confirms your appointment. The cancellation policy is shown when you book.
Plan your drop-off
There's no waiting area, so plan a ride. Drop-off after 6 pm can be arranged by phone at (864) 202-6934.
Inspection and final price
We inspect the paint, show you what can and can't be improved, and confirm the final price before we start.
Aftercare
Looking After the Coating
The coating keeps curing after you drive away. IGL's data sheets for Kenzo, Quartz+ and EZ give a full cure of 3 to 5 days, during which the car shouldn't be washed with harsh shampoos, all-purpose cleaners or anything containing caustic soda; plain water is fine if needed. Long term, IGL recommends cleaners in the pH range of 3 to 9.
In practice that means hand washing with a pH-neutral shampoo, avoiding automatic brush washes and drying with clean microfiber. Rinse off bugs after summer drives and pollen in spring before it bakes on. We also offer a monthly maintenance program for coated vehicles; ask about it.

Common questions
How much is a ceramic coating on a truck in Anderson?
Our starting prices for a truck are $1,047.99 for the 1-year IGL EZ, $1,149.99 for the 3-year Quartz+ and $1,449.99 for the 5-year Kenzo. A dually starts at $1,049.99, $1,249.99 and $1,599.99. Prep is required first, and the final price is confirmed after we inspect the paint.
Do you coat brand-new cars straight from the dealer?
Yes, and new cars are a great time to coat. New paint still needs washing, decontamination and usually light polishing, because cars often pick up marring in transport and dealer prep. We'll inspect it and tell you how much prep it needs before quoting the final price.
Can you coat my car if it already has PPF?
Yes. Paint protection film can be ceramic coated, and the coating makes the film easier to wash. If you're planning both, it's best to have the film installed first and coat the film and remaining paint afterward. We install LLumar Platinum film and can quote both together.
Which coating do most daily drivers choose?
It depends on how long you'll keep the car. For a daily driver you'll keep three years or more, the 3-year Quartz+ is the usual middle ground. If you'll keep it longer and the paint has just been corrected, the 5-year Kenzo spreads the cost over more years. For a lease, the 1-year EZ is often enough.
Do I need to be there while the car is coated?
No. We're appointment only and there's no waiting area, so plan a ride for drop-off and pickup. If you need to drop off after 6 pm, call us at (864) 202-6934 to arrange it. We'll go over care instructions with you at pickup.
