How Booking Window Tint Works at The Auto Show
Booking window tint with us takes a few minutes, but a few choices up front make the appointment go smoothly: which film, which windows, and whether your vehicle and the shade you want work under South Carolina law.
This page explains how booking works for window tint specifically: when to book online and when to request a quote, what to tell us, what the deposit does, and what happens from drop-off to pickup. Some details, like the deposit amount and cancellation policy, are shown when you book rather than published here.
The short answer
The Auto Show is appointment only. Book online or request a quote on the booking page: the two front side windows start at $125.99 in LLumar Carbon and $199.99 in LLumar Ceramic, and full vehicles are priced by quote. A deposit confirms the appointment, and its amount and the cancellation policy are shown when you book. We check the legal shade before installing. There is no waiting area, and drop-off after 6 pm can be arranged by phone.

Two paths
Book online or request a quote
The booking page offers two routes. If you know you want the two front side windows done in LLumar Carbon or LLumar Ceramic, booking online is the quickest. You choose the film, pick a time and pay the deposit to confirm.
If you want more than the front pair, request a quote. Full-vehicle tint depends on how many windows your vehicle has, their size and the shape of the back glass, so we price it for your car. A quote is also the right route if you are not sure which film suits you or whether the shade you want is legal on your vehicle.

Before you book
Three things to check first
- Vehicle age
- We do not tint vehicles more than 8 years old. Door seals and trim become brittle with age and are likely to break during the job, so we would rather say no up front. Why shops set an age limit
- Medical exemption
- If you have a South Carolina physician or optometrist affidavit for darker film, bring the paperwork and ask us before you book. Tint with a medical exemption
- Existing film
- If any window already has aftermarket tint, tell us before booking so we can confirm your options. New film should not go over old film.
Quote requests
What to include so we can price it
- Year, make and model, and the body style (sedan, coupe, SUV with two or three rows, crew-cab or regular-cab pickup, minivan).
- Which windows: the two fronts, all side windows, the back glass, quarter windows, or a strip along the top of the windshield.
- Your film preference, or what matters most to you: heat, glare, privacy, looks or UV.
- Whether the rear windows have factory privacy glass, and whether any window has existing film.
- Any timing constraints, such as needing evening drop-off.
Deposit
What the deposit does
A deposit confirms your appointment and holds the time on the schedule. The deposit amount is shown when you book, and so is the cancellation policy. Read both before you confirm, especially if your plans might change, rather than assuming they match another shop's terms.
We do not publish a deposit figure or cancellation window on this page, because the booking page is where the current terms live.
After booking
Between booking and the appointment
Keep your confirmation with the date, time, film and windows booked. If you requested a quote, make sure the confirmed price matches the windows you discussed, so there are no surprises at drop-off.
The night before, empty the door pockets and rear deck, take parking passes and suction mounts off the glass being tinted and arrange your ride home. Think about the days after the appointment too: new film needs to dry before the windows go down, so avoid booking right before a trip where you would want them open. If something changes, such as a different vehicle or extra windows, call us before the day rather than at drop-off.
The visit
From drop-off to pickup
Drop-off
Bring the car at your appointment time to 112 Metro Drive, Suite B, Anderson. There is no waiting area, so plan your ride. Drop-off after 6 pm can be arranged by phone.
Legal shade check
We check the legal shade for your vehicle before installing, accounting for factory glass, so each regulated window stays at or above South Carolina's 27% combined limit.
Computer-cut film
Your film is computer cut for your vehicle's windows.
Installation
The glass is cleaned and the film is applied to the inside surface. Timing depends on the vehicle and coverage; we confirm it when you book.
Compliance stickers
Each tinted window gets South Carolina's certificate of compliance in the lower right corner, showing the light transmission, our details and the date.
Pickup
Look over the film and stickers, ask about aftercare and keep the tinted windows up until the film has dried.
Adding on
Booking tint with other services
Tint often comes up alongside other work. If you are planning paint protection film or a ceramic coating, mention it in the same quote request. Tint goes on the inside of the glass and does not affect the paint work, so the jobs can be planned together and the aftercare days lined up.
If wet-weather visibility is the goal, ask about IGL Ecocoat Window, a water-repellent coating for the outside of the glass: $100 for the windshield or $250 to $350 for all windows, lasting about 20,000 miles.

Common questions
Can I book window tint for the same day?
We work by appointment only, so check the booking page for the next available times. If you are in a hurry, call (864) 202-6934 and we will tell you what is open. Do not drive over without an appointment, since there is no waiting area.
Is the price on the website the final price?
Our published tint prices are starting prices for the two front side windows: $125.99 for LLumar Carbon and $199.99 for LLumar Ceramic. Full-vehicle tint is quoted for your specific vehicle, and you get that number before you book.
What if the shade I want turns out to be illegal on my car?
We check the legal shade before installing, so you hear about it before any film goes on. The usual alternative is a lighter shade, often in LLumar Ceramic, which rejects more infrared heat without relying on darkness. On SUVs and minivans, rear windows behind the driver are exempt from the light limit and can stay darker.
Can I book tint for a car that is not registered to me?
Tell us when you book, for example if it is a family member's car or a company vehicle, and we confirm the details then. Whoever books should be able to decide on the film and windows. The legal shade check and compliance stickers do not depend on who owns the car. If darker film under a medical exemption is involved, the car must be registered to the person with the condition or their legal guardian.
